Puragain Complete Well Water Filtration System
Advanced whole-home treatment for well water — from the well to your drinking glass.
The Puragain Complete Well Water Filtration System combines multiple water-treatment technologies into one comprehensive solution designed specifically for homes supplied by private wells.
Featuring Katalox Light®, Catalytic Carbon, your choice of a traditional Water Softener or FILTERSORB® SP3 salt-free scale protection, a 12 GPM UV disinfection system, and Reverse Osmosis drinking water, Puragain provides multiple barriers of treatment for the unique challenges commonly associated with well water.
Complete Well Water Treatment
Unlike municipal water, private well water can contain naturally occurring minerals, sediment, metals, odors, hardness, and microorganisms that require multiple treatment technologies.
Puragain addresses these concerns through a carefully designed multi-stage treatment process.
Katalox Light® Advanced Filtration
The first major treatment stage utilizes Katalox Light®, a high-performance filtration media designed for challenging well-water applications.
Depending on incoming water chemistry and proper system configuration, Katalox Light can help address:
✓ Iron
✓ Manganese
✓ Hydrogen sulfide and associated rotten-egg odor
✓ Suspended solids and sediment
✓ Turbidity
This stage helps improve water clarity while reducing contaminants that can cause staining, discoloration, metallic taste, and unpleasant odors.
Choose Your Hard-Water Treatment
Every home and water supply is different. Puragain gives you the choice between traditional water softening or salt-free scale protection with FILTERSORB® SP3.
OPTION 1 — WATER SOFTENER
A traditional ion-exchange water softener removes calcium and magnesium hardness from the water.
Ideal for homeowners looking for:
✓ Softened water
✓ Reduced hardness minerals
✓ Reduced scale formation
✓ Improved soap and detergent performance
✓ Less mineral spotting and buildup
OPTION 2 — FILTERSORB® SP3
FILTERSORB® SP3 provides advanced salt-free scale protection without removing calcium and magnesium from the water.
Ideal for homeowners looking for:
✓ Scale prevention without salt
✓ No brine tank
✓ No added sodium from ion exchange
✓ No traditional regeneration cycle
✓ Retention of calcium and magnesium
✓ Low-maintenance scale protection
Catalytic Carbon Filtration
The system's Catalytic Carbon stage provides additional whole-home filtration and polishing.
Catalytic carbon helps address unwanted tastes and odors and can be particularly valuable as part of a properly configured well-water treatment system.
Depending on water chemistry and system configuration, this stage can help reduce:
✓ Unpleasant tastes
✓ Unwanted odors
✓ Certain organic compounds
✓ Residual treatment chemicals when present
The result is cleaner, fresher water throughout your home.
12 GPM UV Water Disinfection
For an additional barrier against microbiological concerns, the Puragain Well Water System includes a 12 GPM Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection System.
UV technology exposes water to ultraviolet light as it passes through the reactor chamber, providing a chemical-free method of inactivating susceptible microorganisms when the system is properly sized, maintained, and operated.
The UV system provides an important final treatment barrier before water is distributed throughout your home.
No chlorine injection. No chemical disinfectant added to the water.
Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System Included
Whole-home treatment protects the water throughout your house. Puragain takes drinking water one step further.
Every complete well-water package includes a dedicated Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System for highly filtered water at your kitchen sink.
The RO system provides an additional point-of-use purification stage for the water your family uses for:
Drinking • Cooking • Coffee • Tea • Ice • Smoothies • Pets
One System. Multiple Layers of Protection.
Well Water → Katalox Light® → Softener or FILTERSORB® SP3 → Catalytic Carbon → 12 GPM UV → Home
+ Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water at the Kitchen
Each stage performs a different job, creating a comprehensive approach to treating challenging private well water.
Designed to Address Common Well-Water Problems
Depending on your incoming water chemistry and selected configuration, the Puragain Well Water System can help address:
✓ Iron staining
✓ Manganese
✓ Rotten-egg / hydrogen sulfide odors
✓ Sediment and suspended solids
✓ Turbidity and cloudy water
✓ Hard water
✓ Scale buildup
✓ Unpleasant tastes and odors
✓ Microbiological concerns through UV treatment
✓ Dissolved contaminants at the drinking-water faucet through reverse osmosis

Puragain Water — Complete Water Treatment From the Well to Your Home.
Private well-water chemistry can vary significantly between properties. Proper water testing and system sizing are recommended before selecting or installing treatment equipment. Performance and contaminant reduction depend on incoming water chemistry, contaminant concentration, flow rate, system configuration, installation, maintenance, and applicable equipment specifications. FILTERSORB® SP3 is a scale-prevention/conditioning media and does not remove calcium and magnesium like a conventional ion-exchange softener. UV performance depends on adequate UV dose, water clarity, flow rate, lamp condition, and proper pretreatment. Specific contaminant-reduction or microbiological claims should be supported by the applicable manufacturer's performance data and certifications.
