Puragain/Watch Water Catalytic Carbon

4.5" × 20" WatchWater Catalytic Carbon Filter

Advanced carbon filtration for cleaner, better-tasting water.

The Puragain 4.5" × 20" Catalytic Carbon Filter is a high-capacity replacement filter containing WatchWater Catalytic Carbon media, designed for whole-house water filtration applications.

The large-format 4.5" × 20" filter shell provides greater media capacity than standard residential cartridges, allowing water to make contact with the catalytic carbon as it passes through the filter.

Advanced Catalytic Carbon Filtration

WatchWater Catalytic Carbon combines the adsorption properties of activated carbon with enhanced catalytic activity to help address common contaminants, tastes, and odors found in residential water supplies.

Depending on incoming water conditions and system operating parameters, catalytic carbon can help reduce:

✓ Chlorine
✓ Chloramine
✓ Unpleasant tastes and odors
✓ Hydrogen sulfide / rotten-egg odor
✓ Certain organic compounds and contaminants

Designed for Whole-House Applications

The 4.5" × 20" large-format design makes this filter ideal for use as a dedicated carbon filtration stage within a whole-house water treatment system.

It can be used to help:

✓ Improve overall water taste and odor
✓ Reduce disinfectant residuals such as chlorine
✓ Provide additional filtration before downstream treatment equipment
✓ Improve water quality at faucets and showers throughout the home
✓ Protect downstream filtration media from chlorine exposure
